LYON MOUNTAIN, N.Y. (NEWS10) – A Lyon Mountain man was arrested after state troopers found several drugs in his vehicle.
Just after 12:10 a.m. on October 5, New York State Police stopped a vehicle on I-87 for a traffic violation.
The driver, 46-year-old Richard Lapier, was found to be in possession of more than 100 pounds of marijuana, three Oxycodone pills and one marijuana cigar.
Lapier was charged with one count of Criminal Possesion of Marijuana in the First Degree, one count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, a violation.
He was arraigned in the Town of Guilderland Court and remanded to the Albany County Jail without bail.
