ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – The former Watervliet High School resource officer accused of having a sexual relationship with students has been offered a plea deal.
Joshua Spratt appeared in Albany County Court on Tuesday.
School officials said they started hearing rumors about the alleged activity at the end of the school year and reported it to police. New York State Police then took over the investigation, and Spratt was later charged with Criminal Sex Act, Endangering the Welfare of a Child and Official Misconduct.
He pled not guilty to all charges.
Spratt, however, was offered a plea deal in court on Tuesday. He has until Thursday to accept the terms of the deal.
