ALBANY, NY (NEWS10) – 28-year-old Jarquell Williams of Albany was found guilty after a trial Friday on one count of murder in the second degree, a Class A-1 felony and one count of criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree, which is a Class C Armed Felony.
On October 16th, 2014 at around 9:40 A.M. in the area of Bassett Street and South Pearl Street in Albany, Williams shot and killed a 25-year-old in the head with a firearm.
Williams will face up to twenty-five years to life in state prison when he is sentenced November 20th, 2015.
Assistant DA Dan Lynch of the Financial Crimes Unit and Eric Galarneau of the Street Crimes Unit prosecuted this case.
