Noel anchors News 10 ABC’s weekend evening newscasts.
A native New Yorker, Noel grew up in Blauvelt, but has strong ties to the Capital Region, with family in Saratoga Springs, Lake George and Warrensburg. Noel grew up hiking in the Adirondacks, and swimming in Lake George. She still loves to boat there today! She’s happy to work in a place that’s very special to her and her family.
She previously worked as a reporter for CBS in Philadelphia where she covered a range of stories from the prep for the Pope and 47th Democratic National Convention in the city, to Jay Z’s Made in America festival. She also anchored at News 12 Networks in New York and Connecticut. Before that, Noel spent two years in sunny Jacksonville, Florida where she was nominated for an Emmy for her coverage of devastating storm damage. She began her career reporting and anchoring in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan where her work won her a Michigan Association of Broadcasters award.
She graduated from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA in 2009 where she has a dual degree in Journalism and Theater. When Noel is not at the anchor desk or reporting in the field, you can usually find her swimming in Lake George in the warmer months. Year round you’ll find her sampling all the local flavors at Saratoga Springs’ delicious restaurants (big foodie).
