More red light cameras online in Albany

ALBANY, NY (NEWS 10) – Another roll out of red light cameras began Tuesday with cameras now live at two intersections as of midnight.

One is at the southbound approach to Madison Avenue and Lark Street, the other at the westbound approach to Madison and New Scotland.

There will be a grace period for the first ten days.

Starting at midnight on October 9, if you run the light you will be subject to a ticket.

Violations do not add points to your license, but they do include a $50 fine.

All violations will be reviewed by an officer before being sent

Additionally, the grace period for the red light cameras that went live on September 11 is over.
