Schodack residents again seek info about ‘Project Red’

SCHODACK, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Concerned locals are expected to stop by the Town of Schodack Planning Board meeting Monday to learn more about the so-called “Project Red.”

The proposed development project for a parcel of land near the intersection of Schodack Valley Road and Routes 9 and 20 is being called a food services and sales distribution center by company officials.

Town officials say the company is within its rights to keep its identity a secret until the project is approved.

The Birchwood Neighborhood Association will seek answers about lighting, noise, truck traffic and other quality of life issues.
