(NEWS10) – Thirty years ago a little Italian plumber started a revolution. Super Mario Brothers hit store shelves back in September 1985 and gamers of all ages haven’t looked back.
Mario made his debut along with brother Luigi in Japan and then took the world by storm. It was one of the first games to give players different worlds to explore with different levels.
It’s the industry’s most successful franchise. The plumber’s adventures now include go-kart racing, tennis and golf.
