ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – National Grid is still on the scene Wednesday morning as more than 2,400 customers in and near the 600 block of Madison Avenue go without power.
Officials suspect an “underground electrical incident” is the cause.
Albany Police issued a caution alert at approx. 9 p.m. Tuesday night, and warned that many traffic lights were affected. Albany Fire Department was also on scene.
National Grid officials are still assessing the condition and repairs needed. As of 4:30 a.m. Wednesday, two outages are affecting 2,406 customers.
