Scotia police looking for 14-year-old runaway

SCOTIA, N.Y. (NEWS10) – The Scotia Police Department is attempting to locate a young teenager who left her home on Tuesday.

Police said Ekirra Taylor left her home around 8 p.m. Tuesday and has not contacted her family since. Police said she requires medication but reportedly does not have it with her.

According to police, she was reportedly seen in the early morning on Wednesday walking on Broadway into Rotterdam and was in contact with a Rotterdam friend on Thursday.

Ekirra is 14-years old, five foot seven inches tall and approximately 135 pounds. She has light brown hair and blue eyes. She left home wearing khaki-colored jogging pants, a blue Aeropostale shirt, black and white Air Jordan shoes, and a teal and white backpack that may have contained extra clothing.
