SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – The Schenectady Police Department is investigating an unconfirmed third party report of a missing child.
Police received a report that white male, possible named Tyler and believed to be around 9 years old, was seen getting into a white Ford Econoline van. It was reported he was last seen between 10:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. Tuesday in the area of Emmons Street near Henry Street.
Tyler is described as being approximately 4’10” tall with a skinny build and short brown hair. It is unknown what relationship, if any, he has with the male operator of the van.
The van operator was described as either a white or Hispanic male with a full beard and wearing a white shirt and blue baseball hat. According to police, the van may have a dent on the passenger side of the hood and has a custom gas gap.
Police have not currently received an official report of a missing child.
