Arrest made in Schenectady bank robbery

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Schenectady police say they have apprehended a suspect in connection with a bank robbery that took place on Tuesday, August 25.

According to police, David Butler of Syracuse was apprehended Wednesday morning. Butler is being charged with Robbery in the Third Degree, Grand Larceny in the Fourth Degree and Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the Fifth Degree.

The robbery took place at the Citizen’s Bank on the 500 block of State Street.

Police say the stolen money has been recovered.
