BRUNSWICK, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Albany Medical Center is planning to open a brand new urgent care facility on Hoosick Street in Brunswick.
It will be the center’s first EmUrgentCare location in Rensselaer County. There are currently four facilities in the Capital Region, including one that opened in May in Colonie.
The facilities are staffed by board certified medical physicians with a goal to trying to move patients from check-in to check-out in 30 minutes. Facilities are open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. every day and holidays.
Officials say more than 50,000 patients will be served this year between the four existing sites.
The Brunswick location is slated for an early December opening.
