ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – On the heels of two shootings in Albany, demonstrators gathered on Henry Johnson Boulevard in hopes of curing violence.
On Tuesday night, a man was shot in the stomach on Orange Street. On Sunday, another man was shot on Jennings Drive.
Both victims are expected to be okay.
Organizers of Friday’s rally asked community leaders, local business owners and faith leaders to join their call for peace.
Police are still investigating both shootings and have yet to make any arrests.
