ROTTERDAM, N.Y. — State Police are currently investigating a one vehicle accident east on I-90 near Exit 26.
The accident happened at approximately 6:29 a.m. The vehicle, a 2000 Ford Explorer was traveling west bound at the time of the accident, rolled multiple times, and ended on the guiderail between east and west bound lanes. The 68-year-old male driver sustained head trauma and the 65-year-old female passenger sustained serious hand and leg trauma. Both subjects were from Waterford. The male subject was transported by ambulance to Albany Medical Center. The female subject was air lifted to Albany Medical Center.
The accident is still under investigation and more information will be released as it becomes available.
