NORTH ADAMS, Mass. (NEWS10) – Police say they have arrested a pair for being in possession of raw heroin and several different types of narcotics.
Officials say on Tuesday, August 11 members of the Berkshire County Drug Task Force and multiple agencies executed a search warrant at 218 Franklin Street in North Adams. The search warrant was issued after a lengthy investigation into the distribution of narcotics from the residence.
As a result of the search warrant, several grams of raw heroin and other evidence consistent with the distribution of narcotics was located and seized.
Police say 26-year-old Wyatt Demo is being charged with Possess to Distribute Class A Drug and Conspiracy to Violate the Controlled Substances Act.
They say 57-year-old Kim Laflamme is being charged with Possess Class A Drug (Heroin), Possess Class B Drug (Cocaine), Possess Class B Drug (Buprenorphine) and Conspiracy to Violate the Controlled Substances Act.
Both are being held on cash bail. Demo and Laflamme will both be arraigned in the Northern Berkshire District Court on a later date.
