ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Food lovers will flock to the Empire State Plaza today for the New York State 2015 Food Festival.
The festival begins at 11 a.m. and runs until 9 p.m., with a farmers market from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.
There will be a wide variety of prepared food, as well as New York State craft brews, wines and spirits.
If you love live music, there will be bands performing. And there will be a performance by The Ajkun Ballet Theatre.
Alternative rockers Cracker will headline the music at 7:30 p.m., with Gedeon Luke and the People going on at 6 p.m. Soul Sky will perform at 5 p.m.
Due to construction at the south end of the Plaza (the State Museum area), the events will be held on the north end, closer to State Street and the Capitol. Seating will not be available so bring a lawn chair.
