ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Albany and Saratoga Springs will be the two cities live streaming Bernie Sanders’ kickoff event around the country Wednesday.
His campaign method has been unique in a way that has gotten a lot of attention. There are about 3,000 organizers across the country hosting his kickoff.
Around 98,000 people have already signed up to attend, including over 470 and counting, right here in the Capital District.
At these meetups, supporters can meet each other and share their stories about why they support Bernie Sanders and his views.
The live stream will take place at the Elks Lodge at 25 S. Allen St. and at the Arts Center in Saratoga Springs. The Albany location was initially at the Armory but was relocated due to concerns about air conditioning.
Both of the locations are already full, but for those who have already signed up, it will be live streamed starting at 7 p.m.
