BENNINGTON, Vt. (NEWS10) – A Vermont state employee was arrested for allegedly selling heroin to people she met through her position.
Kacey Caprari, 35, was arrested on Monday and charged with Sale of Heroin. She was arrested at the Office of Child Support located within the State Office Complex in Bennington.
Police suspect Caprari was selling heroin to people she met through her position as a Child Support Specialist.
Members of law enforcement in Vermont, New York and Massachusetts assisted in the investigation.
Caprari is being held at the Bennington Police Department in lieu of $5,000 bail. She is scheduled to be arraigned on Tuesday.
