QUEENSBURY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – A Queensbury nurse was arrested and charged with falsifying the medical records of five nursing home residents to allegedly cover up that he didn’t give them proper medications.
Shawn Clark, 29, worked at the Stanton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Queensbury. According to the New York State Attorney General’s Office, in December, Clark left the facility before his shift was over and realized he left narcotics on his medication cart.
He then allegedly called the next nurse on duty and asked her to throw out the drugs and electronically signed records saying he administered the medication.
Clark was arraigned for falsifying business records and willfully violating health laws.
