ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders will campaign in the Capital Region on Wednesday.
Sanders will launch his grassroots campaign for president in the Capital Region Wednesday. The Armory in Albany and the Arts Center in Saratoga Springs will host a live video stream of the politician.
Meet-ups are also being planned at private homes in cities and towns across the region. There are about 3,000 organizers across the country hosting Bernie 2016 kickoffs Wednesday evening.
More than 70,000 people have signed up to attend, including over 470 in the Capital Region.
