SCHAGTICOKE, NY (NEWS 10) – Police say they removed six alligators and a pot belly pig from a home on Tuesday
Police say 45-year-old Aaron Bloom is facing charges for failure to provide proper food to the animals.
A state trooper and Environmental Conservation officer responded to Bloom’s home to find several pets living in poor conditions.
The pig was in poor health and police say the alligators, which bloom had proper permits for, were living in inadequate tanks.
EnCon seized Bloom’s permit and the alligators.
The pig was turned over to the Humane Society.
