PITTSFIELD, Mass. (AP) – A Pittsfield man described by authorities as a career criminal is in trouble again after investigators say they found drugs and a gun in a home he shares with his girlfriend and infant.
The Berkshire Eagle reports that Eric Moore was held on $35,000 bail after pleading not guilty Monday to charges including possessing a firearm during the commission of a felony and trafficking in cocaine.
The 29-year-old Moore was arrested Friday. Police say they found 60 grams of cocaine, with a street value of about $6,000, 1.3 grams of heroin and a loaded shotgun.
Prosecutors asked for $100,000 cash bail, noting Moore’s criminal history.
Moore’s attorney said the shotgun did not belong to her client.
Two other people who live in the home are also facing charges.
