NIVERVILLE, N.Y. (WTEN) – The National Weather Service in Albany tells News10 ABC that there were no tornadoes in northern Columbia County on Sunday.
Officials were out in the Kinderhook Lake area, and other nearby areas, surveying the damage.
They said the damage was caused by straight line winds. Wind speed estimates from the storm are roughly 85 to 90 miles per hour.
The path went from South Schodack in Rensselaer County through northern Columbia County.
