Police seek missing 19-year old

NORTH GREENBUSH, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Several police agencies are investigating a report of a missing 19-year-old female who may be endangered.

Just after 10 a.m. Wednesday, police received a report that Heather Ladanye, of Route 43 in North Greenbush, failed to return home from work Sunday evening. She works at the Price Chopper on Route 4 in Troy.

According to police, she was last known to be alone in her vehicle at 2:20 a.m. on Monday, July 13 driving south from the Canadian border. Her vehicle has since been located off Exit 24 of I-87 in Warren County near the Bolton Landing-Riverbank Road.

Ladanye is described as a white female, 5’1” tall, brown shoulder-length straight hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a red Price Chopper work shirt and either black or tan pants.

The exact circumstance of her leaving the parked vehicle is unknown at this time. Police said Ladanye has not taken her prescription medication and may have an altered mental status.
