LAKE GEORGE, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Wednesday morning at the Great Escape a father who has served in the air force for six years surprised his family and two young children.
It’s a memory his daughters are sure to cherish forever.
Sargent Donald Chadwich stood out of sight as his daughter’s six-year-old Zoe, and three-year-old Aubrie played at the Carousal Plaza. He then revealed himself.
The family was overjoyed to be all together once again.
The children were chosen as the parks’ family of the day to officially declare the park open and then be surprised with the arrival of their dad.
“Ahh it was crazy, nerves, its good exciting I’m glad I did it,” said Sargent Donald Chadwich with the U.S. Air Force.
Each member of the family is receiving a special VIP experience to the theme park as well as overnight accommodations as a token of appreciation for the entire family’s dedication to our country.
