Summer Meal Program kicks off in Albany

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) — The cities school district’s Summer Meal Program begins Monday, helping children get the sustenance they need while school is out.

Every Monday through Friday through the summer months they can get breakfast and lunch at ten different schools around the city.

That includes Albany High School, New Scotland Elementary, Giffen Elementary and Myers Middle School to name a few.

The meals are available to all children under the age of 18 through August 14.
