Regional Partnership against drugs comes to Bennington

BENNINGTON, VT (NEWS 10) – A statewide program aimed at fighting substance abuse among 12-25 year olds is coming to Bennington County.

It’s being made possible by a $12.4 million federal grant.

The Regional Prevention Partnership Program is already at work in six Vermont counties.

It’s part of a five-year strategic plan which will boost resources at the state, regional and community levels to reduce underage drinking, marijuana use, and prescription drug abuse.
