Former Siena standout holds skill sessions for young players

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Former Siena star Kenny Hasbrouck just finished his sixth season as a pro ball player and is using some of his down time this summer to help younger players.

Hasbrouck is holding several sessions at Green Tech Charter School. The sessions began on Monday.

The sessions will help the players with skill development such as shooting, conditioning, dribbling and defense.

“You get better dribbling; you can do more,” Hasbrouck said. “You get better shooting layups, you can shoot floaters now. So it’s going to be advanced, keep learning every day, but it’s always going to be at game speed, and I’m always going to be in their ear just teaching.”

Sessions run until August 24 on Mondays and Wednesdays and Friday through Sunday by appointment only.
