TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Police say a female teenager stabbed a man on Tuesday night.
Police say around 6:30 p.m. a male and female were involved in an argument that ended with the male being stabbed in chest by the female. The female is being identified as 18-year-old Terri Murray of Troy.
The incident occurred in the 2500 block of 6th Avenue. The male victim was treated by Troy Fire Department medics and transported to Albany Medical Center Hospital for further treatment.
Murray was located and arrested on one count of second degree assault. She is expected to be arraigned Wednesday in Troy City Court.
The status of the male victim is not known at this time; however he was able to speak with Detectives and is expected to survive.
