LAKE LUZERNE, N.Y. (NEWS10)— The two men accused of a hate crime against a gay couple in Lake Luzerne will be in court Wednesday.
19-year-old Scott Bills and 21-year-old Bradley Moulton are facing menacing and harassment charges after firing a BB gun at two young men who were holding hands.
The victims told police they were walking down Lake Avenue when Bills and Moulton drove by shouting homophobic slurs and fired the weapon at them.
Police say Bills and Moulton drove off only to return and continue shooting. Police said the victims fled and ran to one of their homes for safety.
Bills and Moulton are both facing four felony counts of menacing and four misdemeanor counts of aggravated harassment.
