BETHLEHEM, N.Y. – Police say they arrested a man for DWI after responding to an incident between a male and female in a car.
Police say on June 20 at approximately 11:51 p.m. they responded to Selkirk Interchange on I-87 for a report of an alleged verbal altercation between a male and a female subject in a car. The driver of the vehicle, 33-year-old Christopher Soto of Albany was found me be intoxicated and in possession of less than one gram of marijuana.
Police say Soto was transported and processed at the barracks in Albany were his B.A.C. was determined to be .20%. Due to a prior DWI conviction in 2007, Soto was charged with aggravated DWI and unlawful possession of marijuana.
Officials say Soto was arraigned at the Town of Bethlehem Court and remanded to the Albany County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash bail or bond. He is expected in court on a later date.
