ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Families in the city are joining together to rebuild and remember the lives of more than 30 crime victims.

Starting at 1 p.m. Friday, 34 bricks bearing the names of crime victims will be dedicated to the memorial walkway at the Empire State Plaza.

This is part of the 19th Crime Victims’ memorial brick walkway dedication ceremony hosted by New York’s crime victims’ assistance task force.

The ceremony is typically held during April, but was moved this year due to renovation work.
