The New York State Sheriff’s Association Rapid Responder Program is proving to be a success in 35 school districts across 10 counties. The program provides facility staff and first responder’s quick access to emergency plans and other critical site information needed when responding to an incident at a school.
The organization will hold a press conference later Wednesday afternoon addressing their recent success.
For more information on the program or to see if your school district participates, contact your local Sherriff’s office.
