ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS 10) – A Hollywood star came to the Capital Region on Friday to talk about an issue that hits close to home for him.
Gary Busey almost died in a motorcycle crash in 1988, ever since he has been traveling around the country to talk about how important safety is.
Along the way he raises money for families affected by traumatic brain injuries.
“When you’re recovering, You do it,” Busey said.
Each year 2.5 million people experience traumatic brain injury.
