Corinth woman charged with embezzlement

JOHNSTON, NY (NEWS 10) – A Corinth woman has been indicted by a grand jury for embezzling nearly $70,000 from her employer.

According to the Fulton County District Attorney, Erika Lindsey, 35, made unauthorized purchases with the credit card of Don Brown Bus Sales and made false entries on credit card statements to conceal her theft.

“This individual abused and misused her position of trust within the Don Brown Bus business to the detriment of the owner and other employees,” Fulton County D.A. Louise Sira said.

Lindsey was charged with grand larceny and falsifying business records. She faces up to 19 years in prison.
