Albany man sentenced to 13 years in prison for felony burglary

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10)– An Albany man has been sentenced to 13 years in prison after pleading guilty to felony burglary charges.

Andrew Gonzalez MugOfficials say 26-year-old Andrew Gonzalez was sentenced in Albany County Supreme Court on Friday morning. In addition to serving time in state prison, Gonzalez is also ordered to pay over $10,000 in restitution to six victims.

Officials say in July of 2014 Gonzalez entered three homes in Albany on Yates Street, Morris Street, and Myrtle Avenue. While inside the residences he stole computers, jewelry, video game systems and a camera.

Gonzalez pleaded guilty in April to the felony charge of Burglary in the Second Degree.
