TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Funeral services were held on Wednesday for a Troy man shot and killed by a Los Angeles police officer.
Brendon Glenn was shot and killed by an LAPD officer in Venice, Calif. earlier this month.
Police in Los Angeles said the 29-year-old was fatally shot after he struggled with an officer responding to a report for an unruly man outside a bar in Venice Beach.
Authorities said he was homeless.
LAPD Chief Charlie Beck later said he worried the shooting may not have been justified.
Glenn attended Tamarac High School and graduated from Troy High School. Friends said he was a kind person and deeply loved by his family.
