Charity basketball game held to help Lansingburgh fire victims

LANSINGBURGH, N.Y. (NEWS10) – No arrests have been made in connection to a Lansingburgh fire that left 13 people homeless.

While police investigate, the community came together on Monday to help the victims. A charity basketball game was played at the Lansingburgh High School gym.

Several teams took part, including Team National Guard versus Team Troy Fire. The goal of the tournament wasn’t to raise money but to take the victims’ mind off the fire.

Other teams included Troy police and some Lansingburgh High School students.
