EAST GREENBUSH, NY – Dr. Angela M. Nagle, superintendent of the East Greenbush Central School District, is filing a complaint regarding the Board of Education and claims to have been harassed and intimidated into retiring after a maternity leave.
Her attorney Ryan M. Finn, of E. Stewart Jones Hacker Murphy, filed the paperwork with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
According to Finn, Nagle has led the district since 2008 and the harassing behavior began in October of 2014, after she announced her pregnancy.
He added that it persisted until she was asked for her resignation last month.
News10 reached out to all the School Board members, but the ones we talked to did not want to discuss the personnel matter. One insisted the school work together for the kids and said the focus is now on the budget vote on Tuesday.
