SCHOHARIE, N.Y. (NEWS10) – A Schoharie County judge has declared a mistrial in the murder case against Cal Harris.
Harris has two previous convictions for killing his estranged wife. The decision was made days after jurors originally said they were deadlocked on a decision.
The Central New York case was moved to Schoharie County as a neutral location since it gained national attention. Harris’ wife’s body has never been found.
It is not currently clear if prosecutors will try to bring Harris to court a fourth time.
