HUDSON, N.Y. (NEWS10)— Police say they have arrested a Hudson man after seizing 130 bags of heroin from his apartment.
On Wednesday 29-year-old Frazier Townsend was remanded to Columbia County jail after police found drugs and items consistent with the sale of drugs in his possession.
A search warrant was issued for Frazier’s apartment on Green Street after a parole officer conducted a residential search and found crack cocaine and over $3,500 in cash.
Hudson Police Department Detectives say they seized 130 bags of individually packaged heroin, approximately 20 grams of powdered heroin, and scales and packaging for distributing the heroin.
Townsend, currently on Parole for Drug Sale was remanded to the Columbia County Jail pending Parole proceedings.
Police say the investigation is ongoing and they plan to charge Townsend with felony possession and intent to sell.
