SARATOGA, N.Y. (NEWS10)– State Police in Malta have charged a Saratoga Springs man with felony burglary after multiple thefts from a local Price Chopper.
Police say they received two separate theft complaints from the Price Chopper in Malta on April 8 and 12. The stolen grocery items totaled nearly $1,000.
On Thursday police arrested Cheney and charged him with Burglary in the third degree for the April thefts. Cheney had been banned from all Price Chopper stores for life for previous incidents at the establishments.
Cheney was arraigned in the Town of Milton court and sent to the Saratoga County jail in lieu of bail.
