ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10)– A 32-year-old Cohoes man pleaded guilty to arson Friday morning for intentionally setting an October fire.
Officials say on October 6 Edward Glass started a fire on a chair in the lobby of 200-204 Remsen St. in the City of Cohoes. The fire spread from the chair to the building, causing damage to the building and the six apartments inside.
When sentenced in June, Glass will face between 10 and 12 years in prison.
The fire temporarily displaced 12 residents who lived on the second floor.
