Saratoga community meeting to discuss local heroin use

SARATOGA, N.Y. (NEWS10) – The Saratoga Springs Police Department is holding a community meeting on Tuesday to discuss the impact of the heroin epidemic on the community.

Parents, students, teachers, and anyone else who may be interested are encouraged to attend. The meeting will explore why heroin use is increasing in our area, how addiction begins and how parents can protect their teens from substance abuse.

The meeting is Tuesday night in the library at Saratoga Springs High School at 7 p.m.
