Red light camera program to begin in Albany

ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – The city of Albany will be getting its red light camera program soon.

Acting Police Chief Brendan Cox said the city expect to have all the cameras up and running within 60 days or the beginning of July.

By that time, 20 intersections in the city will be outfitted.

For each violation, the owner of the car will receive a $50 fine.
