KINGSBURY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Police say an employee has been arrested for injuring a 15-year-old at a facility for people with special needs.
Police say on Monday the Washington County Sheriff’s Office arrested Jan Dorman as the result of an investigation into an incident that occurred on April 23 at the Southern Adirondack Education Center located on Dix Ave, in Kingsbury. Police say the center is a BOCES school for vocational education. Officials say the victim suffered bruising to the neck after the incident happened in a hallway at the school. The incident was reported after another employee witnessed the scene.
Police say Dorman was charged with Endangering the Welfare of an Incompetent Person and Assault. She was arraigned and was released with to reappear in Kingsbury Court.
