Flooding in Nassau

NASSAU, N.Y. (NEWS10) – A state transportation official says New York will spend more than $7 Million to rebuild three bridges in Nassau as part of program to replace spans in flood-prone areas.

The work has already begun to replace three bridges that carry Route 20 over the Kinderhook Creek in Rensselaer County.

Officials say the bridges are among the first under contract as part of the New York State’s Flood Prone Bridge Program.
