HUDSON, N.Y. (NEWS10) – A deadlocked jury has led to a mistrial in the case of William Demagall.
This was the third time he was tried in the 2006 murder of a Columbia County man.
Demagall was convicted twice, and both of those convictions were overturned by an appeals court. In this third case, the special prosecutor said the jury was unable to reach a unanimous decision.
Demagall was remanded back to jail without bail. No further court action has been scheduled.
