STILLWATER, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Police say they’ve arrested a man for driving while over four and a half times over the legal limit.
Stillwater Police say they arrested 32-year-old Kevin Walsh of Connecticut and charged him with felony DWI, Operating with a Blood Alcohol Content of .08% or Greater, Aggravated DWI, and several vehicle and traffic infractions following a 911 call from a motorist reporting a reckless driver on Route 67.
The vehicle was stopped by police and the defendant was taken into custody after failing field sobriety tests. His blood alcohol content was later determined to be over 4 ½ times the legal limit. The defendant also had a prior DWI conviction in 2009, which elevated the current charges to felony levels.
