Schenectady Police make arrest in connection to Webster St. shooting

SCHENECTADY, N.Y.  (NEWS10) – The Schenectady Police Department says they have made an arrest in connection to the shooting on Webster Street.

Detectives say they’ve arrested and charged 27-year-old David J. Fyall with One count of Attempt Murder in the Second Degree, a felony, and One count of Assault in the First Degree, a felony.

Fyall is accused of aiding a third party that had fired one shot from a handgun, striking the victim in the chest, causing injury.

The identity of the victim will not be released to the media until the shooter is in custody. There is no update on the victim’s medical condition at this time.
